I offer in-person dog training and behavior consulting in these San Francisco neighborhoods:
Nob Hill, NOPA, Pacific Heights, Marina District, Mission Dolores, Duboce Triangle, Dolores Heights, Japantown, Inner Richmond, Haight-Ashbury, Noe Valley, Russian Hill, Alamo Square, and Western Addition.
If you’re outside my travel range or prefer remote sessions, I provide virtual training options or we can meet in a public setting in my radius.
-
I use positive, science-based techniques that focus on rewarding good behavior, building trust, and strengthening the bond between you and your dog. This approach is gentle, effective, and encourages your dog to learn new skills in a fun and stress-free way.
-
Each private session typically lasts about 60 minutes. However, session lengths can be adjusted if your dog needs a shorter or longer session to stay focused and comfortable.
-
Dogs of all ages can benefit from training! I work with puppies to help them develop good manners and socialization, as well as adult dogs who need behavior modification or want to learn new skills.
-
The number of sessions varies based on your dog’s needs and your training goals. Some dogs make rapid progress in just a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support. After our initial onboarding session, I’ll recommend a customized plan with the ideal number of sessions for your situation.
-
I offer flexible location options:
In-Home Training: Convenient if your dog is more comfortable at home, or if we need to work on household behaviors.
Real-World Settings: For practicing leash manners, socialization, or public behaviors (like outdoor cafes or parks).
Virtual Training: Perfect if you’re located outside my service area or prefer remote coaching.
-
Yes! In addition to single sessions, I offer discounted packages for 5 or 10 sessions. Packages are a great option if you plan on ongoing training or multiple skills. I’ll discuss these options during our onboarding session so we can choose the best fit for you and your dog.
-
Absolutely. Owner participation is key to achieving lasting results. Some sessions may be trainer-only (to allow focused training), followed by transition sessions where I show you how to reinforce the new behaviors at home. This balanced approach helps you feel confident in maintaining your dog’s progress.
-
Yes! After our training sessions are complete, I’m still here to help. You’ll have access to email/text check-ins and discounted follow-up sessions if you need further guidance or want additional support in the future.
-
While I strive to help dogs of all backgrounds and behavioral challenges, there are situations where a dog’s needs may exceed the scope of my training services. In cases involving severe anxiety, a history of biting, or significant aggression, I may recommend consulting with a veterinary behaviorist or another specialized professional.
My priority is the safety and well-being of both you and your dog. If I determine your dog requires more in-depth behavioral care, I will provide you with trusted referrals to ensure your dog gets the most appropriate and effective support possible.
-

-
I accept cash, PayPal, Zelle, and Venmo. Payment is due at the time of booking or at the first session, depending on the package or arrangement we settle on.
-
Yes. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations without adequate notice may be subject to a fee. I’ll go over the full cancellation policy during onboarding so everything is clear.
